You have the most influence over the church. From what we understand, Verizon solicited the church & ill-advised them that there were no known health hazards.
The church always wants to do what is right for its parishioners and for the community. Therefore, it is crucial to for you to reach out to the church & let them know your opinion. The church admits that it does not really stand to make a lot of money from this. Are the funds going to the Diocese? Is putting a community in fear and tarnishing the name of a respectable church worth it, just so that the Diocese can make some money?
All we, as a community, want is to keep our families safe and protect our investments in our homes. We don't want to tarnish the church in any way, but we do want them to reconsider this proposal.
